Rachel supported both my boys through senior school and GCSE’s, the online weekly tutor session allowed them to breakdown challenges from class and reinforce what they had learnt. I am pleased to say both passed and allowed them to progress without having to resit any exams. Many thanks Rachel for getting them through and your engagement with two very educationally uninterested teenage boys.
Rachel is very patient, she understood my daughter’s strengths and weaknesses very quickly. My daughter went from a mock exam GCSE grade 2 to a 5 in just a year.

My daughter has always struggled with maths and was put off tutoring at an early age from another maths tutor who made her feel inadequate and stupid.
I contacted Rachel on the recommendation of my friend whose son had worked with her and done very well in his GCSE's.
Rachel from the start was patient, kind, engaging and really understanding of my daughter's negative sensitivity around maths. She spoke to her as an equal and was not in any way intimidating or patronising.
She made lessons fun, was clear and engaging, gently encouraging and always brining positivity and praise.
I can't thank Rachel enough for restoring my daughter's faith in her abilities, I only wish we'd met her sooner!
Many thanks

Rachel has done a fantastic job with my two sons. For a non-maths family, the support Rachel has given them and the ability to get them to engage in a subject that they both disliked is a fantastic achievement, and I am very grateful for the results both my sons have achieved.

Rachel single-handedly helped me pass maths and achieve a higher grade than I expected.

As a pupil who dislikes maths, Rachel made it enjoyable and helped me move positively forward with my maths.

Rachel tutored me for 3 years through GCSE and A Level Maths. I passed both with good grades which I wouldn’t have done without her. She helped to give me the confidence to believe that I could do well in it if I took it a step at a time.
I did an hour after school each week, we could go through what we were currently working on in class and I could get her to explain clearly anything I didn’t understand. We would also look at any of the homework I was struggling with. She showed me useful techniques and analysed past papers to help with revision,
The hour that I spent with Rachel each week seemed to pass quickly as she made it fun as well.
